Ceres — A Bromance in Stop Motion for Sanremo 2025
Sometimes, a small detail is all it takes to feel a connection, a band t-shirt, a knowing glance, and suddenly, a unique bond is born. That’s the spark behind the new Ceres campaign: an unexpected twist on bromance, celebrating friendship in all its forms.
Premiered exclusively during the 2025 Sanremo Music Festival, the spot tells the story of two unlikely friends who prove that you don’t have to agree on everything, not even your beer, to share something special. Set to the nostalgic tune of Reality by Richard Sanderson (yes, the one from La Boum), the spot hits right in the feels.
The animation was created entirely in stop motion using clay models, a heartfelt return to the roots of our love for storytelling through handmade frames. The tactile, analog look brings warmth and authenticity to the story, just like the bond between the two characters.
This campaign is a tribute to the Ceres community: from '90s nostalgics to a new wave of fans. Keep your eyes open the spot is packed with easter eggs and pop culture references for the most attentive viewers to spot.
